POSITION: Counterintelligence Specialist

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Counterintelligence Specialist supports the Department of Defense (DoD) component through the use of investigations, assessments, collections, and analysis focused on mitigating the foreign adversary threat. CI Specialists may support numerous entities within the DoD Component, involving a variety of mission areas or with a focus on mitigating specific advanced adversary threats.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support the identification, mitigation, and exploitation of Foreign Intelligence Entities (FIE) and their operations targeting personnel, facilities, and technologies leveraged by the DoD component.
• Shall research emerging methodologies, tradecraft, tools, and procedures used by Foreign Intelligence Entities (FIE) and Foreign Terrorist Organizations (FTO) against DoD equities and develop information papers for leadership
• Shall use oral and written communication skills to conduct briefings and discussions with internal and external senior leadership and to author memoranda and finished intelligence products
• Shall compile and disseminate metrics capturing CI activities in support of investigations, collections, and operations
• Shall exercise knowledge of key U.S. Intelligence and Law Enforcement community resources to identify and obtain relevant information and effect any necessary coordination for CI-related events
• Support the conduct of Counterintelligence Incident Assessments (CIIAs) and joint CI Investigations IAW DoD 5240.01, 5240.10, and 5240.23.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Clearance: Must currently possess an active TS/SCI security clearance and be able to obtain a CI polygraph after hire.
• Location: Quantico, VA / Springfield, VA
• Years of Experience: 4+ Years Relevant Experience

• Certification: DoD Counterintelligence Officer/Special Agent certification through an accredited training institution such as the Joint Counterintelligence Training Activity (JCITA) or DoD Service Component equivalent.
• Experience: 4+ Years of relevant intelligence experience to include experience as a credential counterintelligence special agent.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must currently possess an active TS/SCI security clearance and be able to obtain a CI polygraph after hire
• 4 years experience as a credentialed counterintelligence special agent
• Be a graduate of any of the following Military Department Counterintelligence Agent Certifying Courses:

· Army – Counterintelligence Special Agent Course (CISAC)

· Air Force – Basic Special Investigators Course (BISC), Air Force Special Investigations Academy (or its predecessor)

· Navy – Special Agent Basic Training Program (SABTB), Naval Criminal Investigative Service Training Academy, or predecessor

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 – $125,000.00 per year
